On Sunday, 5 April, we celebrate Palm Sunday, Jesus‘ entry into Jerusalem. Scripture tell us that „a very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road“ (Matthew 21:8 NRSV) as Jesus rode a donkey in Jerusalem.

It is the tradition in many churches on Palm Sunday to have special processionals – often led by children – of palm branches. While we are not able to hold such processions this year, you and your household are invited to create your own palm branches at home. Whether living alone or with family, young or old, all are invited to create their palms for our Sunday celebration.
